Adobe Animate (Flash)
Review: Flying Plane Animation
You will can download the plane and the helicopter to right or you can create your own "flying machine" to animate in a simple motion path in Adobe Animate. This will give you a warm up for animation. You will need to create a sky background with clouds that move using a classic tween with different levels of alpha. You will also need to add additional elements to give your animation a well rounded look. You will create three scenes for your animation project. Each animation will need to done at 24 FPS and you will need to use a minimum of 60 Frames per scene.
Look at the example to give you a general idea of what to do. HOWEVER, your animation should be much more complicated with additional animations and effects to give your animation depth and interest. YOURS SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE MINE, at all! As you work, save your project and name it lastname + firstname + period# + flyingplane. When you are finished, export your animation as a .swf file and as a movie. You will turn in the exported files to the classroom. Remember to add this to your portfolio! HINT: If you don't remember how to use Flash, then use the City Animation tutorial to help you get started! |

In this project, you will be creating an internet ad that will advertise 3 different products. First, choose a theme for your ads. You will also need to choose 3 backgrounds, 3 icons to use as “goto” buttons for your ads, and graphics and text for your ads. You will need to use Photoshop to clean up all of your graphics. Use different layers for each of your items. You must have at the very least two animated graphics and one animated text item for each ad.
